Veho VSS-001-360 / 360 Portable Rechargable Speaker For iPod/MP3 Players with 3.5mm Socket

I just bought 2 of these.. thinking I'd save some money over the more expensive mini speakers.

Big mistake...

Compared to the "X-Mini" brand of speakers on sale on Play, these are abysmal. The volume control is a clunky button that you slide to the side, like a normal on/off switch. But this button moves in clunky stages raising and lowering the volume. Very poor control. The bass is distorted. The superior "X-Mini" bass is superb compared to these.

So, in closing.. do yourself a favour and buy the "X-Mini" speakers from Play instead. Yes, they're twice the price, but the sound difference is off the scale. You can't put a price on good sound quality!

However.. if you only need this speaker to upgrade from the worst speaker possible, then it'll do. But like I've already noted, there are better ones readily available here on Play.

I'm very disappointed and have learned a valuable lesson. I'll keep these 2 speakers as emergency speakers, but am just about to purchase the "X-Mini" speakers instead.

I teach classes of 24 students, I am using this speaker because the speakers available in the classroom, despite being expensive are muffled. This speaker gives perfect clarity and volume in a classroom 8mtrs by 10mtrs and can be heard perfectly by everyone.
You can't go wrong buying it.

Bought this last year for my holiday, used it once. Just charged it ready to go again and it no longer works, some sound emitting sporadically.
I know it is inexpensive but I expect it to work on more than one occasion!

I recently purchased this speaker, it works with most devices! It is tiny, can literally fit in the palm of your hand! The sound is clear and loud and ridiculously easy to carry around!

Do not believe any of the good reviews. Tinny, quiet, poor poor poor.

8 hours on one charge??charged speaker for 2 DAYS and still only lasts for 45 minutes!!!!!Thank heavens its cheap.stay clear,spend 5 quid extra and get a better speaker...

fuer so eine winzige kugel macht der speaker einen richtig tollen, lauten sound und bass. super fuer jede spontanparty!

Frankly did not expect a lot given the price but damn - can't fault it: more than enough of clear, rich and quite bassy sound out of a tiny smaller-than-yoyo gadget especially in combination with some free phone apps like "Volume plus". Just don't forget to twist the speaker capsule to unfold it ).
Have just ordered 2 more for my nephews to strengthen my "cool uncle" status. Overall - I would really recommend this item.

Great speaker very small, sound top class for travelling I would buy one again the only thing is the cable in very small but all in all great sound

This is a well packaged, well built speaker of diminutive size yet very powerful sound. This is as good, if not better, than the x mini II.
If you want good sounds from a speaker that you can carry in your pocket you won't be disappointed with this!
