TomTom Start Sat Nav System (UK & ROI)

I found this to be a very good sat nav system. Easy to use and update. The screen is clear and sound is crisp. The maps are easy to follow. Also you have a wealth of options once you start looking though different menus. The touch screen is also very good and responsive.
This is the 3rd sat nav I have bought over the years (and the cheapest) And I think its the best I have had.

Great value entry model, now there's no excuse to buy a cheapo brand satnav.

This tomtom is a waist of time & money you can't swithch off the "TOLL & CONGESTION!!" It doen't even give you an option?
The key point of having a sat nav is to avoid the extra charges, this was ment to be a "BASIC" tomtom hassle free. But the most important feature is not even on this navigation system not a good buy at all.

This is my first Sat-Nav and must say im impressed, setup is flawless and the mount easily sticks to your windscreen.
I live in glasgow and so far its taken me around everywhere without getting lost. You get a free map update with this and you can download lots of free content like voices, arrows and colour schemes. I also downloaded all of the UK speed camera locations for free, now it bleeps when im approaching them.
Would definitely recommend this, its a fantastic price for a tomtom!

It's a lot slimmer than older models that I've seen.
If you decide you want to go your own way rather than follow the Sat Nav it then re-plans the route immediately if there is an alternative route rather than telling you to turn round.
Not sure what the other customer who reviewed this is going on about when he says you can't turn off "TOLL & CONGESTION!!" as when you plan a route if one of the available routes includes any "TOLL & CONGESTION!!" you can YES to avoid it...?
