I bought this tv for an xbox 360 elite so i can only comment on it used in that manner. When connected with a decent hdmi cable it produces excellent results. Any other connection, ie scart is appalling quality. The various displays are good quality and the menu is easy to navigate and set up. It's a decent size for a bedroom/kitchen but a bit small for other uses. The one gripe I do have is that the audio jack on mine doesn't work. You plug in headphones or external speakers and the sound still comes out of the tv's speakers!!? Philips will be gettin a call tomorrow. Overall, its a decent tv and the image quality with hdmi is superb. Oh the other small thing ive noticed is that the power lead is very loose in the back of the tv so a slight knock and you loose picture. It can be wall mounted and its a VESA 100 size. 7.5/10
Here you go, i Bought one, the picture is very good, used my PS3 on it and it looks outstanding.
The only 2 annoying things i have noticed is that the Subtitiles keep popping up on all channels after a retune and that the Channel Guide don't stay up long enough to have a good browse.
Been using this TV now for about 3 weeks and I love it. We use to have a 14" Sony CRT in the bedroom but replaced it with this, so much better IMO. The only comment I have is that mine came with the subtitles on as a default and these need to be switched off in the TV menu. Not a problem if you read the instrcutions to begin with but being male I played endlessly trying to fix it, then had to read the manual. 5 stars none the less..
This is a great bedroom tv, but doesn't show the Xbox's 1080p very well as Xbox is native to 720p. But on the PS3 Front it shows 1080p great! The HDMI port is very convenient along with composite and component sockets, including a PC-Input aswel so you can use this as a computer monitor also. it also comes wit different contrast modes to suit what your using the tv for.
Good value for a big name at this price, if you don't want all the bells and whistles (ambilight and so on), this will serve you well.
