Only because I lost one and had another stolen, this is my third purchase of a Sansa Clip. I mostly use it to listen to audio books, podcasts and the radio, I really like the size, find the buttons and menus easy to use, the battery life is good and, although I use my own headphones, the headphones included are very good.
2 minor quibbles which I have encountered on all three: when listening to the radio, if I hold the volume button down, the whole system freezes. This doesn't happen if I change the volume gradually, pressing the volume button in short bursts.
Also occasionally the pause button for audio books doesn't work and I have to restart the system.
It was delivered swiftly and efficiently.

Poor quality, wont hold a full charge and sometimes needs a reset when it freezes.
Pity because when it does play its a nice little mp3 player.

  excellent player

i bought this a few months back and think it's a great little mp3 player, made even better with the free 16gb sd card i got.
if you want some cheap , good headphones with a short cable then check out the headphones for sony ericcson w950i (just discard the adaptor for the phone and use the headphones). I find these better than anything else when i use the player when it's clipped to my shirt as i don't have loads of cable hanging down.

  Ok but too quiet!

This is a handy little MP3 player. Really good value. However due to the sound being soooooo quiet I decided to just take the memory card and pop it in my mobile phone. Convergence for the win!

I only recommend this for someone who wants a small mp3 player for reasonably quiet places, or to plug into speakers.

  amazing little mp3 player.

this tiny little mp3 player is as good as anything else. the sound quality is excellent. the volume level is pre-set to a medium level but easily fixed by re-setting the location to rest of the world [re-set factory settings]. a little fiddly to suss out the navigation, but you cannot take anything away from such a great product at this price.
i also purchased a Veho mini speaker to go with this., a great addition.
i also picked up a free 8gb memory card included with the deal. you cannot argue with that. just get one...

good little player - shame about the sound quality

Good if using headphone, but link it to your car or external speakers and you need the volume on full blast to be able to hear anything. After the reviews it was given, very disappointed in the product.

  Impressive little MP3 Player

Firstly it arrived within the stated delivery window so no complaints there.
As to the Sansa Clip + I'm very impressed. For 30 Pounds including an 8 Meg Micro SD card thrown in for free I was not expecting the latest technological masterpiece but it impresses me on several levels.
Firstly the size, I knew it was small but did not appreciate how small until I got it out of the box.
Once you have had a bit of a play around the contrrols are straight forward and easy to use.
The included manual is pretty basic but you can view and download a bigger better and more informative one from the San Disk web site so no complint there.
Sound wise I am highly impressed. It has a nice warm sound with plenty of volume. Whilst I was not expecting high quality earphones I found the ones that came with the Clip more than adequate especially as they are ones that are bundled in with an MP3 Player which sells at a very good price. Granted I will only be using them as a spare set as I already own a nice quality set of earphones I spent a bit of money on. I don't expect really top notch headphones whan they come bundled with a reasonably priced device.
Connected up to my PC running Win7 and it installed the drivers no problem and the Clip now syncs very nicely with Windows Media Player. Also dragging and dropping tracks straight into the Clip couldn't be easier.
So overall very impressed. Lovely little MP3 player with a great sound and from what I can see well below the price of anything comparable.
For those worried about comments re low volume check previous comments re not using the EU settings on the device if you don't want the volume limited.
One thing you will have fun with is the packaging. The plastic packaging containing the Clip is seriously 'protective' and does take some getting into.

  Great little player

This a great little player for the price. The radio settings need improvement as they don't save. Mp3/4/cd quality very good. Handy litte clip to have. Would recommend to buy.

if you're on a tight budget I'd recommend this mp3 player with the 6.99 Logitech Ultimate Ears 200 Noise-Isolating Headphones. Everything about this mp3 player is easy. Whether you want to use drag and drop in the folder view or whether you want to synch it properly with Windows Media Player, it's all easy. Unlike most cheaper mp3 players the whole navigation when using it moves smoothly and fast, there's no lag and no crashing as of yet. It has all expected features such as shuffle, repeat, playlist, equalization etc. and one thing I did like about it is when the center button is pushed it travels between now playing list and one that lets you view a graphic equalizer displaying what frequencies are being used. A nice little note about the headphones I mentioned is they come with a little protection pod but as the mp3 player is so small that can fit in the pod too.
