As many others have pointed out, these are great headphones with excellent sound.

However, the build quality is poor, and within two months of owning them they no longer work.

These headphones are great and all, the bass is incredible as long as your not stupid enough to use the ear buds that are too big or small for you. But after about 1 week part of the case of the microphone came off and won't go back on and its a constant irritation. Then after about 2 months the casing of the wires right by the actual earphone broke and that rattles..
Overall these are probably better than most skullcandy earphones especially at 14 quid but I have now given up with skullcandy as every pair I have bought has ended up in the bin within 3 months.
So overall I would say buy these if you are after a pair of good looking, cheap and good sounding earphones, but don't if you are after a genuinely good pair of lasting earphones.

I bought these for my iPod touch. The sound quality on them is very good and the build quality is ok. The cable isnt like the one pictured, the ones I received are just black rubber but having a microphone built into them makes up for that. The carry case seems pointless due to one side of it being mesh thus letting the dust and dirt in.

The cable has broke inside the insulation next to the headphone jack. I knew straight away that, that would be a weak point for the cable and it was, also the silver on the speakers started coming way so it looks tatty.

the ear phones were brilliant to start with great sound fit in the ear well, untill after a month of having them they are playing up and changing the volume of the ipod as the wire and jack moves which gets rather annoying!

Great value - work with HTC smartphones

I bought these buds to use with my iPod Touch - alas the mic isn't detected and the button doesn't start/stop the music - but the upside is that they work fine with my HTC Legend smartphone. I'm really impressed by the clean sound, great high-end definition and clean true bass. Amazing value for money - I'm gonna load up my Legend with music and enjoy making/taking calls hands-free.

Bought these to replace my Sennheiser CX300s which had failed in one ear. These Skullcandy's have superior sound quality and build quality. As an added bonus, the microphone and call answer button work just fine in my LG Cookie Gig (KM570) - again, with good sound. Highly recommended.

do you have them plugged into an ipod touch or a iphone 3g/s? if not they wont work as the way apple microphone/headphones are built have a different connector structure that wont work in regular headphone sockets or with other phones. Hope that helps!

Will the mic feature only work with the iPhone? I want a set of earbuds with a mic for my HTC Desire Smartphone. Can anyone help?
