  Great bit of kit

As both the previous reviewers have stated this is a great E-Reader, it's able to read a lot of formats, the display is fantastic, up till now I have been reading ebooks on my Dell PDA which has a small screen and is hard to see in daylight - this you can use out side and is easy on the eye's, although it did take me a bit of time getting used to not having a touch screen!
It does feel a bit flimsy but I won't knock it just for that, Hard cases are easy to come by online, got mine from a certain auction site, my BeBook now travels to work without the danger of getting crushed.
I really can not fault this item.

  An astonishing bit of kit

This reader continues to suprise me. The screen is typically excelant with the standard immense battery life (battery is user replaceable and it edvens comes with a screw driver to get in there yourself)

The format selection is immense and the narration feature, while at times sounds like a female Stephen Hawking and certainly not audiobook quality, is clear and easy to understand.

The SD slot for extra storage is good should you wish to load it with mp3's which it will also play. The device appears as a linux usb store when connecting to your PC, working equally well with Windows and Linux. The only time you need to use the Adobe software is when your files have DRM attached. PDF support is excelent and even images show up nicely. Or even for storage to transfer files between PC's

The only minor complaint I have is the device can feel a touch flimsy and I'd have liked it to come with a sturdy case but for the price I can't and wont complain.

  Luv My Mini BeBook

| | See all Cila517's reviews (1)

I decided on the Mini BeBook because it accepts the most formats out of all the ereaders available to date (trust me, I did my homework). Since this is my first ereader, I wasn't looking for touch screen nor colour screen and Im happy to say that these features do not take away from the product. It's fast, it's clear, I can upload my files without BigBrother watching (hence why I decided against an ereader with wireless) and it's great!!! This is as important to me as my mobile.
It's light weight ultra slim, has multiple ways to access the various functions and it's absolutely for my needs. It doesn't come with a case and the BeBook creators don't have any on their site but I managed to get a one from StylzWorld and it's perfect!
Oh!! And I just discovered it has a search function in addition to all the other great abilities!!!
Needless to say, I'm a very happy bunny!
