Not fast enough for HD video

I'm using this in my Canon 500D SLR. It's great for saving large raw files, but when it comes to HD video, even 720p, it can't keep up.

  Too slow

Although advertised as class 6 this card does not live up to expectations.
Used in my canon 550d camera movie mode it stops recording literally after 2 seconds.
I have a Panasonic class 4 card and even though it sometimes buffer tab comes on screen it records perfectly.

Cards look good on the outside, but issues with speed

Nice looking card from the outside, looks more robust than some of my other SDHC cards. Works perfectly for taking photos or video on a Canon HF200 video camera (that recommends a class 4 card), but these cards don't work properly when filming video on a DSLR camera, they stop recording after one minute of filming??? obviously not as fast in real terms as other class 6 SDHC cards on the market. My Verbatim class 6 cards perform much better for video!

  What a bargain! £17.99

I also really wish I bought two of these cards.. :(
Anyway, this product just feels like quality from the 1st touch :)

I've only tested this product for a short while but already it's fairing a lot better than my equally priced Class 4 SD cards.

And on top of that it has the added robustness features.

I really wish I did buy two of these, but I was a little tight on money. It was a great bargain.

  Speed

My fastest cards do 24meg in my reader
so my reader is fast enough to test these cards

Using one these cards in my Sanyo HD2000 which records at a very high 1080 60p full HD with no issues at all, very happy
