  Fine...until it breaks

Had a couple of these. Each one has broke after about a year. Worth spending more money on something more reliable.

very happy with the price i paid for this and the product that ive got, the only problem is, is that i use the remote quite a lot to turn the song over etc. and sometimes it interfiers with my dvd player and also sometimes it doesnt even work at all!!! it also sometimes turns my ipod off or skips a song when im nowhere near it. however apart from this i think it is good for the price that your paying

This is an exceptional product taking into account the price and quality.

It has high quality sound and reasonably loud. Rarely particular songs can sound tinny/crackly but this can be resolved by adjusting the bass and treble on the remote.

Great Price for a Great Product.

This product is excellent for the price. Some other reviewers have complained about background noise when it is turned off and that they struggle to sleep with it. I disagree. Yes there is bacground noise but it is so quiet you can only here it if your ear is right next to the product.
The only problem I have with the product, is the instructions and working of the different settings is very confusing. I have yet to get the radio alarm to work. If anyone can help that would be great!

I would like to tell you how good the sound quality is or how easy it is to use but after connecting the iPod touch and switching it on. The plug exploded and melted and now my iPod shuffle does not charge!

  Docking Station good, Plug bad

| | See all Brambleten's reviews (1)

The docking station itself was very good doing everything it said on the tin, but when i came to unplug it the plug casing came apart, only held together by two wires, which doesnt fill me with confidence about the rest of the system.

  Sent back !!

Not a good device at all. Totally packed in within weeks.First there was the annoying hissing coming from the speakers, then i would get woken up from the Interference from all near bye electrical devices and the docking station at random times, Then i wasnt able to play music as the sound quality got really bad and to top it off with, it would randomly change the time by itself.
Now sending back and want a refund.

  Issues with Touch 4th Gen & IOS4

| | See all Rustynutz's reviews (2)

My daughter has the previous version of this which she use's for her 3rd Gen Touch.

However, I bought one of these for my own 4th Gen touch, but along with other people who also own either a 4th Gen touch or have updated there 3rd Gen touch to IOS4, this dock has compatibility issues.

1) 50% of the time it fails to charge and shows the 'Charging not supported with this device ' other times it's ok
2) 90% of the time the sound comes from the iPOD and it takes re-docking and turning the power of to get audio from the docking station
3) The Radio reception is pretty poor ( but then it was on version 1 )
4) The EQ settings are not saved , they always revert to Bass +2, Treble 0. ( same as version 1 )
5) The display is on par with a solar flare during the night, it must be made from a WWII search light.

Granted, it's 14.99, but would you buy a new car for a pound if it was designed without wheels ?

  Lasted a week

This item looks pretty good, the build quality seemed ok for the price, it even sounded quite good. Shame it stopped working after only 1 week. Just made a clicking noise and wouldnt charge my iphone.
