Canon HD Camera System
The combination of a 3.3MP Full HD CMOS sensor, a 15x optical zoom Canon HD Video Lens, and the super-fast DIGIC DV III processor delivers superb Full HD movie quality. On the highest quality setting, movies are captured at 24Mbps.



Video Snapshot
Video Snapshot makes creating movies to share easy. Every time the Record button is pressed, a short 4 second clip is captured. Simply add clips to a playlist, select a soundtrack, and your movie is instantly ready for playback on a TV



Instant shooting
With Quick Start and Pre REC you're always ready. From Standby, opening the LCD screen powers up the camcorder in around a second. Pre REC continuously stores 3 seconds of footage while the camcorder is on: when you press Record, you also capture the preceding 3 seconds.

This camera is awesome!!! the colours are spot on and pin sharp! i have compared this with the panasonic SD10 and the canon won hands down!...highly rated camera!
