The large screen yet ultra-thin nuvi1490T offers multiple-point routing to make your journey - anywhere in Europe - as easy as possible. It has Lane Guidance and Junction View for supreme route awareness. It includes Bluetooth wireless technology for hands-free phone calls, pan-European premium traffic avoidance and ecoRoute to calculate a more fuel-efficient route. It is also compatible with the optional cityXplorer download to get you around on foot or public transport, and you can even add City Guides to make the most of your time in town.

City Xplorer
nuvi 1490T's pocket design means you can take it anywhere. Use to its full potential by downloading cityXplorer to navigate selected cities via trains, tubes or buses as well as on foot. Add an AA City Guide for your chosen city to find out about all attractions.



Spoken Street Names
nuvi 1490T has a simple, intuitive menu. Just touch the screen to look up addresses and get turn-by-turn directions. nuvi announces street names before you make a turning - e.g. "Turn right into Dell Road" so you can keep your eyes on the road at all times.



Route Planner
With route planning you can save 10 routes, specify via points and preview simulated turns on the 1490T's large screen. In addition, nuvi 1490T automatically sorts multiple destinations.



Free Traffic Data
Based on Trafficmaster data, there is extensive coverage of the road network (100% on motorways in England, Scotland and Wales). Know how long you'll be held up, and choose to be routed around the queues.



Bluetooth
Keep your eyes on the road and both hands on the wheel with nüvi 1490T's integrated Bluetooth wireless technology, microphone and speaker. Just pair with your compatible mobile phone and talk hands-free through the nüvi.

This Sat Nav has everything you need like Full UK and European Maps, Traffic and Speed Camera alerts, all modern foreign language voices, Big 5" screen and much, much more.

Included in box is Sat Nav, usb cable, car lighter charger, in car mount and multi-language manuals.

This Garmin has much more features than a similar priced Tom Tom and the Garmin feels better in quality.

The only downside I have discovered is it's low battery life so if you are going to use it remember to bring charger.

this is my second garmin much much improved,its got the lot ,even blue tooth. this bad boy will take you where you want to go no problem loving the big screen crystal clear.its so accurate it told me there was a 4 second dely on the moterway.if i must be picky the power cable is thicker than most but i dont care!.
