4 Good, with tiny niggle.TheReaSoner | 26/12/2011 | See all TheReaSoner's reviews (4)Let me start by saying that for the money this piece of kit is excellent!Pros:-8 Drum Pads and 8 Knobs feels like everything you need to use this as a standalone controller for Ableton Live-Nothing is pre-programmed, meaning you have free reign to do whatever you would like with the controller. I use mine with VDJ for extra controls when mixing, such as crossfader bass and extra hotcues.-Drum pads are really sensative, but in a good way. You really feel control over how loud you make a sample based on how hard you tap it. The LED's are really good quality that not only look awesome but give really good feedback.-The lightness of the unit really makes it portable, and the fact that it needs no excess power other then the USB is a great bonus.Cons:-Drum pads are sometimes a little sketchy, giving you a double beat when you didn't want it. (Although that could just be me.)-Software is a little old, feels rushed and does not get on with Traktor (works but takes time). All in all for 40quid you can't really complain. The cons are tiny little things that the average eye wouldn't notice, good piece of kit wether your just starting out or are an experienced producer/dj.
