Can u hook these up to a ps3 through an opitcal cable

This is a GREAT product for the money ! bass is good and sound quality is also good, there is no background hiss . the remote ( included) has several glow in the dark buttons witch is nice - this system only has 1 optical output so i would recommend getting a splitter that allows you to connect more . dvd upscaling is excellent however it is certainly not the 1080p upscale thats is advertised ! it is more like 720p . overall this is a great product at an affordable price . this product is perfect for small rooms or secondary systems . the menu system for this product is not quite there - meaning its not very elegant however you dont buy a theater system for its menus!

fantastic product does all you need and more

a great purchase

Bought to replace my old yamaha surround sytem, the DVD was not the main seller but I would agree with the previous comments (Would add I'm not to fussed with the touch control and clunky door). As far as sound goes... well its a lot different than my old system I mainly use this for my ps3 and the surround separation is excellent and far superior, though the Bass can lack a bit. However for music it sounds a bit flat, very clear but no warmth.

There is a noticeable background noise when the system is on, which to a trained ear is really annoying. The sound is quite flat, but has responable music performance. Partnered with my Xbox360 the sound is quite good.
