Just got the easycap though the post. Although the set up was very easy and simple to follow, the main problem im you cant capture footage from games such as Call of Duty, Moder Warfare etc.
This device will not record in PAL60 which is what near enough all games are now. My advice would be to get a Easyvap DC60+ instead
This product works well, but i have suspisions that this is a fake. With a little research on the internet after recieving this product it turns out that the orginals should have gold plated RCA connectors not silver like the one i've recieved, the disk should be a reddy and white collour not yellow, and it should be called EZCap not Easy Cap. Maybe i've got an old versions but for the money ive paid its worth it.
I use Pinnacle Studio and after installing the driver, Pinnacle recognised it straight away. You do need to change the setting where audio is captured from. I am using it to capture film from a 8mm camcorder and its very good. The leads on the USB device are female so you do need a lead between this and the camcorder. The software which comes with it is basic but fine if you have nothing else.
Got this item today, does what i wanted it for but hard to find 64bit drivers for windows 7 tried it on a laptop with i3 processor 4gb ram and dedicated graphics card 512mb and it was really slow to do anything (i don't think this thing likes windows 7 but at the end of the day it done what i wanted it to. Advice if you buy it is look for a different program rather than ulead that comes with it as i think its the software that is sluggish, but for the price i cant complain. would have been 3 and a half stars if i could.
