Unique ZINK technology: no ink needed for the Polaroid PoGo Printer, only these magic photo papers.

The heart of this new "ZINK" category of printing is the ZINK Paper. The patented ZINK Paper is an advanced composite material with embedded yellow, magenta and cyan dye crystals, activated with 200 million heat pulses, in 30 seconds, in a single pass. With 100 billion crystals in a 2 x 3-inch print, the paper is 100-percent inkless. A ZINK-enabled printer uses heat to activate and colorize these crystals.
  • 2"x3" handy size
  • borderless

 Use By Date doesn't matter...

I'd just like to inform everyone that use by dates don't matter with POGO paper. Polaroid have to put a use by date on it because of the EU as it's considered a consumable. The paper will in fact last forever provided you keep it in the right conditions (temperature, humidity, etc). The crystals in the paper will remain perfect regardless of use by dates until you print a picture, thus heating the crystals up to produce the image. So the paper is absolutely fine. Also, this 90 pack offers the best value for money you can get for the paper. It's actually 3 packs of 30.

Great bit of fun - love it ...

My hubby bought me one of these Pogo printers last year as a little surprise - i have printed off loads of photos to the joy of my kids, grandkids and friends... great fun and a great portable little printer - about the size of a pda.... photos a little expensive for the papers at 12.99 for 90 in comparison with normal photos - just don't stop making the papers !!

Don't buy too much ZINK paper has a short shelf life!

Note! zink paper has a short shelf life (6months), so think carefully about how much you will use. The packs I got also had conflicting date on the outside and inside of the boxes (later discovered that the inside date are not expiry dates but production dates despite saying best before).
