Alarm clock radio for iPod and iPhone

Automatically find all FM stations in your area with the press of a single button. Your FM stations get stored in the app, including the station name (where RDS is available). You can edit and re-order them at will. Instead of constantly tuning up and down, just press the name of the station you want to listen to.

The SmartLink app features two display styles: Steel and Digital. Switching from one style to another is instant.

Create alarms wherever you are with SmartLink's easy-to-use interface. Once you are done, simply dock your iPhone, launch SmartLink and your alarms will be synced with the speaker. Alarms stay synced and will wake you even if you remove your iPhone from the dock before the alarm goes off.

The SmartLink app offers 4 styles of clock, which can be used while playing music or FM radio. Alarm times are shown on your iPhone screen and if your speaker does not include alarm clock functionality, SmartLink will add it.

SmartLink includes a built-in music player to access your iPod library. You can search for songs, browse playlists and even display album artwork in full screen without closing the app.
  • Wake up to iPod music or radio
  • Snooze control
  • Remote control
  • NEW 3.0 SmartDock App compatible Take control of your speaker by downloading the SmartLink app free from the App Store - view track info, FM radio stations, sync your alarms and rock out with the built-in music player at the touch of your iPod or iPhone.

This has to be the best iPhone accessory I have ever bought, the app that comes with it makes alarm clock radios with all those buttons seem like the ice age. My wife has set up a special playlist that she likes to wake up to rather than whatever the radio station has on at that time. My only issue with the app is that to disable on of your alarms you need to go into "settings" which didnt seem obvious at first, but once you know where it is its no big deal.

My biggest gripe however is that I cant buy one in the states for my US appartment, I had to buy an iHome which is rubbish, doesnt even have an app to control it, and it cost more. Come on Gear4 lets get your US story sorted out. In the mean time, unless you live in the states this is an amazing product.

Bought my girlfriend it as a xmas present and went down a treat! Looks awesome and was very easy to set up and use. One draw back is the sound isnt amazingly loud although good enough for a bedroom. Not the best dock if you are after sound qualities but for me and her its fine. Not tried the alarm and snooze like the other gentelman so cannot comment. Also with the power save button it doesnt turn off the clock which some do and is very visible to see still. Would defiantly recommend and abit of a bargain at 50 quid. Happy Chappy all in all !

When i first got this through the post and set it up (Which was very easy with the free app you can download from app store) it looked great and sounded ok too, maybe not loud enough as a unit for the living room but definetly ok for a bedroom or kitchen. I brought it as a clock radio for the bedroom and then discovered 2 problems, The main problem is you cannot see the time when lying in bed (I had to sit up in bed just to see the time) and secondly, the next morning when the alarm went off, i pressed the snooze button but it only puts the sound down and not off, surely the idea of snooze is to go off completely for 10 minutes, These two faults made it useless for me so it went back in the box and i sent it back for a refund. Overall it looks great and as long as you dont want it as a bedside alarm clock it should be fine.
