 Mostly very good

This a very good product, clear picture, fast redraw. Slight after image sometimes with webpages and in direct sunlight, but goes away with refresh. I bought this particular model for its wifi, so far not supper impressed with browsing on it. Zooms for pdfs but doesn't for webpages. You can change font, but that throws webpages out of whack. This model does have periodic firmware upgrades though. Good battery life, as long as not using wifi, mp3 player, or stylus touch screen. Only plays .mp3, not any other, or at least I have not worked out how yet., but again firmware upgrades. Solid aesthetically pleasing hardware, nice to handle.

Clear easy reading of books downloaded via USB cable

I use mine every day and enjoy it as a reader; but have not yet succeded in working the wifi or in downloading any firmware. Can anyone help with this? I have consulted the Bebook forum wihout finding anything positive.
I use mine every day and enjoy it as a reader; but have not yet succeded in working the wifi or in downloading any firmware. - - - - - The lines above were written in August; now in December I feel I should add some more positive information:

It helps if one regards the Bebook as a memory-stick with as screen rather than as a pocket computer.

Firmware can be downloaded, and has produced a very marked improvement in the functioning of this device. I have hopes that similar improvements can be expected in the future.
I have, occasionally, downloaded an item via the Wifi. It does work, if you have the patience. This does not usully matter, since downloading via a desktop computer and a USB cable is no problem. I still use mine for several hours every day, and enjoy doing so. It can accept almost any format; though some are much better than others when it comes to reading.
If you have a choice [as you do when downloading from Gutenberg or Manybooks] then I recommend MOBI or PRC [these are virtually synonyms]. This is the same format as is used on the rival Kindle, I believe.
I sometimes use PDB, which is similar to MOBI in its effect and can also be used on a Palm-Handheld which I bought years ago.
PDF can be used, but is awkward because it retains a multiple-column format not suited to the small screen.
EPUB has a facility for annotating but this is less useful on the Bebook than when used on a desktop computer.
Articles downloaded from periodicals such as the Times or the Economist are usually in the format HTM or MHT. Bebook will not read MHT but it will read HTM.
The Bebook forum is full of useful information supplied by users, but confusing to use since Bebook offer several different readers which all have their idiosyncracies.
There is free software under the name CALIBRE which can convert from one format to another. This is fun to use and very useful.

Sturdy and nice design with good ergonomics

I got my Neo just before summer. I'm using it everyday and it's great.
The display is the standard e-ink type with added touch screen. I haven't really used the touch screen much.
It has a fast CPU making page switching fast.
The wifi works fine, but again I haven't really used it.
The big round button with two rings of buttons around it works perfect, it makes it very easy to navigate with one hand.
