Purchased for ten pounds as part of a package with the 37in Sony Bravia TV KDL37EX503. Fantastic playback with the Blu-ray disc and would recommend. The offer is not availabe now so I'm very happy with my new set-up.

The BDP-S370 is from a newer range than the 760. (hence the '70' at the end). If you want to access iplayer and the like, then yes, a '70' series player will have more relevance. However, if you just want an amazing picture and great audio with your Blu-Rays/DVDs (and don't forget the 760 has multi analogue outs, to allow those with older A/V receivers to get HD audio. I don't think any of the '70' series players have multi-channel analogue outputs), then the 760 is a bit of a bargain.

Great for what it is - even better at the bargain price!

Yes, this machine is outgunned on the features department by its newer siblings the S370 and S570. It can't display 3D movies and it doesn't have the internet channels that newer models offer.

However, the picture is fantastic, it includes sound decoding and a headphone output and wireless connection. I got this machine when Play offered it for 99 pounds - an absolute steal! My Bravia TV and my Wii can both get internet channels so the only thing it doesn't really provide is 3D capability but I'm not interested in that.

Amazing performance in every aspect! Until recently the PS3 has been king of the bluray players, but this blows it away on every level, I have switched to buying only blurays now, it's that good!! Worth it at twice the price!!

  Good but not great

Fantastic picture quality and built in wireless. BUT could have been so much more. Lower spec BDP S370 is not wireless but still lets you access so many more applications, i-player, Utube etc. S760 does not have these features and ultimately that is its downfall.

Top notch Blu ray player
Picture and sound are both superb.
7.1 Analogue output (the main reason I purchased it)
Tested it with Iron Man, Monsters Inc and Dark Knight and I was litterally blown away by the picture and sound of this player, my previous Blu player was a Samsung BD P1500, And I thought the picture and sound on that was good, But this blows it out of the water.

My only only gripe.. Its that I purchased it for 149.99 (2 days before the code to purchase it for 99 pounds appeared).

Can't really say much else about the player other than its simply amazing. Even at 149.99 this player is an absolute bargain. So if you are looking for a new Blu player, you'd be hard pushed to find one this cheap (even at 149.99) with this sort of performance.
Even using the analogue outs you can hear so much more detail, So if you have an older home cinema amp that doesn't have HDMI audio, but does have 5.1,6.1 or 7.1 analogue inputs then this Blu player is right up your street.
