iPod Speaker/Charger Dock For Touch Nano And Classics With Digital Clock FM Radio

I've had this alarm clock for a good few months now and whilst it has done me well for what I've needed it for, it's annoying niggles are now making me look for a replacement.
Firstly, the hum when the iPod is on dock and playing means there is a distinct hum until playing at louder levels. Initially I could tolerate this but it gets worse as time goes by to the point that 6 months in, it's too annoying to keep on.
Secondly, the clock seems to drift after a week or so, meaning that it's seems to creep a bit and change what time it actually is. This has meant I've been late for work in some cases due to this time creep.
This may read as a three star review but the lack of a backlight button instead of having it always on and no alarm span options reduces it a star.
These aren't major factors but after a few months in, I'm looking for a better quality replacement.

great sound quality, can be turned up very loud considering they are only small speakers, the alarm clock works just fine (i should know) all round good buy. thanks

The sound when playing music through my Ipod is very good, but It has to be plugged in to work, so there aren't any in built batteries, it makes an annoying buzz sound which annoys me in bed.
But I am just being picky. It's doubtful you will get anything this goof sound wise for this price

My parents bought me this for my birthday after I pointed it out to them and I have to say for the price of it, it is absolutely brilliant! The sound is great for something so cheap! It is a bit tricky to work but I've only just started using it so will probably get used to it. Like someone else mentioned there is a slight hum from it when it's charging without any music playing but that doesn't bother me. If you're looking for something along these lines I would most definitely advice you to get this one,you won't be disappointed!!

I bought this because I wanted something that was cheap, compact, charged and played my iPod whilst also having the capacity to listen to the radio, set an alarm and see the time in the middle of the night (my hubby is obsessed with doing just that!). This ticks all the boxes - I am especially impressed with the sound quality, it's excellent! Would definitely recommend.

Arrived well packed as expected from Play, can't believe how good this dock it, a little hard setting radio pre-sets but only want it as ipod dock, sound it great hard to beleive how good it is..... but one

can you use this dock for the ipod touch 4th gen??????

it's working great, looking very much ok etc etc... unfortunately whenever i plug my iPod in the speaker starts to make cracking noises... it's slightly annoying as the only way to get rid of them is to put the volume up... and well i don't always want to listen to loud music... anyway for that price is pretty ok

It has good sound quality and is good as an alarm clock, but now the pins are broke due to a major design fault that asks you to firce the iPod onto the dock, which means that over time, it WILL break. I'd look for a better one than this.

this clock radio has great sound, simple instructions and easy on/off buttons to set/cancel the alarm. easy radio station tuning and separate volume set for alarm. my 8yr loves his and i'm so impressed i'm ordering one too. only drawback is no backup battery in case of powercut but we don't have many cuts so should be ok.
