the picture quality is amazing, it is as good as watching avatar on blu ray , you can't get a picture much better than this, i paid 500 quid for a jvc hdd a few years ago and this camera is 100 times better quality, i would recommend buying a blu ray or tv that plays mp4 though for the best picture
