For a fiver this is great. It only works with Windows but as a Mac user it worked perfectly using a virtual Windows environment. You can not simply write the 128x128 bmp files to the device as it uses a little piece of pretty simple software that works well.
In this case I would say that you more that your money's worth - all this tech for the price of a (fancy) London pint!

Just set mine up, no need for a software CD, software loads automatically when you connect it via a USB lead, easy to upload pics - looks really good, can't go wrong for the price! Can upload 120 pics regardless of original size as it downscales them all to smaller BMP images, quality is fine, great Chistmas Stocking filler!

I bought 5 of these as gifts and they're fantastic! Really easy to use, and the picture quality is fine. Altogether a nice stocking-filler.

Was easy to upload a few family pics and the battery seems to last a long time before recharging through the USB.
I have read some of the negative reviews software issues and must say my experience was the opposite.
I use it for my house keys and it has taken some punishment over the last six month. I am now buying a second one as a present.

On the downside the chain is not tremendously strong and took a toddler to open a link - easily fixed though.

Struggled at the starting to power it on. Just left connected to my laptop for sometime for it to charge. And tried reset. Started working. Very simple to use, and all the features are gud. Worth.
