What can you review about a cable. I had thought not much until I used this one. So the problems - its has a big terminal head - this means any HDMI connection with in TV that is set back or has a nearby ridge, means it will not fit. The cable is thick and has two inline, round connectors (not sure what they are). This causes three issues - 1. this adds weight to the cable and means it pulls the HDMI out if left to dangle; 2. if using it in a tight space (i.e. behind a wall mounted TV), the cable, large terminal and inline blocks take up loads of room; 3. If trying to hide the cable behind a false wall, you will need extra space for the inline blocks. It will be returned and lesson learnt!
Very, very good value and does exactly what it is supposed to do and I would have given it 5 stars had it not been such a struggle to get it through the wall cavity pipe. I had to remove all the other cables to thread this one through first, due to the 2cm chunk of plastic that is the EMI interference suppressor, this is not shown on the photo, nor is it's width mentioned. Once that was through and clear of the cable outlets, all the other cables could then be put back in. Fitting this cable turned from a 2 minute job into a 30 minute battle. Had I paid upwards of 20 quid for this 3 meter cable it would have gone back.
Picture quality using this cable connected to an 1080p upscaling dvd player is as good as the tv's built in freesat HD, positive connection so should stay put when used with swivel stands and wall brackets and sturdy but flexible cable.
Works great with PS3 and also great quality on my new 3D TV.
Don't be fooled by the low price, This is a good quality cable and i wouldn't hesitate to buy more.
