I bought this item to protect my new kindle 3, not really expecting very much other than a cover but it is so much more. The item does precisely what the seller claims, it not only protects your (very expensive!) Kindle from damage and a scratched screen (whilst it's in your bag etc) but it has an ingenious stand that allows you to prop it up on any hard surface (plane/train tables, canteen tables, even your desk if you can get away with it!). Sheer brilliance. If like me you are a total bibliophile (and if you're not, why did you buy a Kindle?!) then you NEED this. I'm really happy with the construction of the item and the leather it is made of too. All in all a fantastic item at a great price and I can't praise it enough!
