The Optoma 3D-XL is the world's first 3D projector adapter, and adapts existing DLP projectors enabling them to display 3D. Compatible with 3D broadcast signals such as Sky 3D, 3D Blu-ray players and 3D games from the Sony PS3, the 3D-XL simply connects between a 3D source and a DLP projector. The huge - greater than 100 inch - 3D projected images in the home provide a fantastically immersive experience that is just not possible with the small screen of a 3D TV.

Amazingly, the total cost of this jaw-dropping 3D experience is a fraction of the cost of 3D TV's.

Bundled with the 3D-XL adapter is a pair of Optoma ZD201 3D glasses, which allow compatible content to be viewed in stunning stereoscopic 3D. The glasses work with all Optoma 3D-capable projectors, and are easy to setup as they Auto-sync with the on-screen image. The glasses have a robust design and are energy efficent, having an auto power off function to save battery life. They are also versatile, and can be worn with prescription glasses.

 Amazing bit of kit

Fantastic piece of kit works amazing i have one hooked up to a HD600X and was very easy to set up although i could not get a Dolby true hd audio signal to pass through it. So i recommend you make sure if your running an av reciever do not put the 3d-xl before the amp but take the hdmi out of amp into the 3d-xl and out to your projector and now works a treat glasses are very well made very light and comfortable to wear, can't wait for more 3D films later this year. Well done optoma they could have charged a lot more for this upgrade but have kept the cost very low for something that works so well.

Just set it up on xbox 360 black ops.... lovely picture, just like the cinema. looking forward to many more games in future!

I've had this for a few days now and watched with a variety of content. 3D blu-rays look amazing. Depth and clarity of Image is far better than I expected. Both live action and cgi movies look great. On ps3 and xbox some games look better in 3D than others but this is due to limitations with the content and systems rather than the 3D-XL itself. If you have a compatible DLP projector and can see 3D you should buy this.
