 super small but powerful

Love this product. Converts any file and plays back at good quality. It is tiny. Smaller than a tea coaster! I have a good flat screen TV with HDMI cable connections but it was bought before they began being provided with a USB and SD card connections. This little gadget is a solution to both. With a USB and SD card connection, you can watch any film, video, fotos, and listen to music downloaded on to it. You need to buy an HDMI cable if you don't already have one. It also comes with the triple red, white, yellow jack plug connectors so if you don't have an HDMI cable connection it will still work for you. Storage capacity (none of its own) as great as the USB or SD card you use. Beats stacks of DVDs. Excellent buy.

does it play films which need codex?

Plays every file format known as far as ive tested it, all your different screen settings can be adjusted to suit your playback needs, works a dream with a 1tb buffalo hard drive, remote not the best but does the job.

This is one awesome bit of kit.
It plays every file format I've tried so far.
Absolutely amazing quality and more than worth the money.
I would highly recommend this gadget to anyone.
You'll never need to buy another dvd again.

Fantastic bit of kit, i have got 2 of these so far, will buy a 3rd very shortly. I have had the same 2 now for about 3 years or more and have had no problems with them at all.

I would highly recommend this for a household, they are easily operated by children of around 5 years upwards as my daughter has 1 in her room. A good price and very reliable, and i would say it is definitely one of the best movie file players on the market still today.

Highly recommended ;-)
