  True Class 10 performance

| | See all CROSSBLADE's reviews (2)

I bought three of these for 15.99 each after suffering with some faulty Sandisk ones which were more expensive than these.

I ran tests on all 3 of these Lexar cards and they truly are Class 10 cards in relation to speeds. There were no bad areas on the cards either giving a full 29.8GB of available storage.

Here are the speed results of all 3 cards showing how consistent they are. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

I loved it whilst it lasted. Really fast and great value but it died before even getting 6 months out of it.

  Great card, great price

I actually bought one of these some time ago, but I just had to write a review when I saw the price had dropped to below 23 quid. For that price it's excellent value. It's in my Sony Xperia phone, and combined with this card it takes one photo after another with hardly any delay. My friends have commented on that very fact, and how it seems so much faster than their phones. My class 10 Lexar came with a dinky little USB holder which has also had some positive comments. All in all great value at it's current price.

Firstly, tested through to ensure no bad sectors, tested as 32GB and formatted as 29.8GB so all fine there.

Speed wise using HwTest2 and Crystal Diskmark, writes at 11.1MB/s and reads at 18.5MB/s through usb 2.0 and the enclosed card reader. This means it's a definite class 10 and as HD video is 1080p at 3.5MB/s then playback etc. will be fine.

remember that smaller files are never written as quickly as larger files using flash memory so MP3's pictures and HD movies will be fine but tiny 4k files will seem very slow. I have had other cards that aren't as slow as this for small files but they weren't as fast at larger files. most of what this will be used for is larger files.
At 32gb sizes, class 10 is really a minimum reuqirement simply due to the amount of time it would otherwise take to load onto the card.

Works perfectly in my Xperia play, and the pinch point is usually the handset rather than the card when this quick.

There are faster cards but for what this is going to be used for (carrying games, picures, and recording video on) this is fine.

very impressed for the price, and mymemory were ok despite being a bit rude about their claimed 10% paypal discount not being honoured, but that's mymemory, not the card itself!

I had a bad experience with a cheap, supposedly Class 4 16Gb microSD... I learnt my lesson (it barely made Class 2 speed) and this time I opted for a more expensive Lexar card, Class 10.

I am pleased so say, that this time, I have got what I paid for, the card writes at 11.2Mb/sec according to H2Test. Thus I am happy! Sometimes it really is worth paying a little extra to get something good!

  Massive Storage with Top Speed

Bought this card from play.com over the Christmas period at a discounted price and its a very good deal considering your getting a usb reader as well which most MicroSD cards dont offer.

It has been said from previous reviewers that the speeds are good and I conform that I haven't had any problems with mine too. Good reading and writing speeds.

The usb reader comes handy because not all the laptops or pcs might have a cards reader in them so having the usb reader means that you can access your data at every laptop or computer.

The product came well packed and they feel solid. Delivery was very quick from Play as usual so all in all I am very happy with this purchase and I would recommend this to anyone thinking of buying one. 5*

Perfect in my Galaxy SII !!!!

I bought some cheaper 32gb named cards and had problems with my Galaxy SII...but not with this card. It works brilliant when used to store videos with no break up in the picture at all. I can't recommend this highly enough. This is a great price as well !!!
