4 Cracking Set - If you get a good one!Int3rceptor | 08/12/2011 | See all Int3rceptor's reviews (1)On initial inspection this TV was superb - when calibrated correctly the HD material is stunning, blacks truely are black. Unfortunately though this TV really exposes the quality of SD material as colours are over saturated and the sharpness needs to be toned right down to ensure the picture isn't a pixelated mess.3D material is really hit and miss and depends largely on the source. Sky 3D has good and bad moments and cross talk is apparent in a lot of material.Bluray 3D - in particular A Christmas Carol is absolutely stunning - the snow is really in your face and there is no noticable cross talk which shows a HQ source is essential for this TVI have seen 2 of these sets and the quality of the build varies greatly. The first set had no visible 'Flashlight' effect or backlight bleeding however the brightness of the screen was uneven which showed up as dark lines when watching HD football. The 2nd set has the 'flashlight' effect which is getting better over time. The backlight is still a little uneven but not as noticable as the first set.I would also advise that the screen is VERY reflective so light sources may cause some people a problemAlthough it may sound as thought this set is poor - I am very happy with it and if you can overlook the flaws which to be fair are widespread with this LED Edgelit technology then you will be quite happy - you may not even notice the issues I have highlighted!
