Conran Audio Speaker Dock For iPod and iPhone with Bluetooth in Black

I bought this at the reduced price of 60 pounds and it is by far the best bargain I have bought this year. It's fantastic, I use the bluetooth via my laptop and also on my Samsung S2 with clear and high quality Audio.

Just got my Conran dock great bit of kit good bass and the Bluetooth is great!! link it with iPad or iPhone for 59.99 this is a bargin you could pay loads more money for something of this quality.

Took all of 5 minutes to set up, bluetooth paired straight away. Fantastic system, really happy, for the price I think its incredible. There are 6 sound modes, which are very easy to change, if you follow the instructions it should not take more than a couple of minutes to choose your setting. The remote fit neatly , magnetically, on the side. Overall it looks and sounds like a high class ipod dock.

At this price it can't be beaten. I have had mine delivered today and at first it sounded thin but now the speakers are running in its sounds great. Best against a wall to give you better bass. It's plenty loud enough. Really well made and good to touch, use. It will even talk over Bluetooth to your iPad or laptop. Makes apple airport seem expensive and pointless. I have top end hifi systems and ok this is no replacement but if you have an iPhone you can download a radio app foc and it further extends its use. The lighting is a nice touch as well very smart. Love it

I had a few probs with what I thought was the remote control not working. However, now that I have a replacement, it seems more likely that the main unit was at fault - it was taking 10 seconds to turn on, with problems with flickering lights, and 10 seconds to turn off. And not accepting remote signals, so half the functions did not work. (You need the remote for these.) So onto the main review:
I like it so much, I want another one, this time in white. Fantastic sound from such a small unit. I thought I'd always bought pretty good stereos over the last 40 years, but nothing sounding this good. On the down side, stereo is non-existent from a unit with speakers 10cm apart. And there are no 'spatialiser' settings.

There are about 6 graphic equaliser settings, but he standard one or the far right one are best. (A strip of light scrolls across the base of the unit from left to right as you change equalisations.)

Bluetooth was iffy on my returned sample. Much easier to connect this one to my new MacBook Pro, but it only works from a metre or 2 away - not in a nearby room like I expected. When I use the Mac, it interferes with the music - a few dropsdrops and crackles.

I was an early adopter of "Spotify free", and I was amazed that it works via Bluetooth - I thought you had to pay for that feature, according to their website. But if you listen closely you'll hear a very faint background crackling all the time. (Maybe that goes away if you subscribe.)
Styling is also, unbelievably from Conran, a bit naff. It's that big circle that pops in and out depending on which ipod you have.
Great idea of remote slotting in on the left side - but take care, it's easy to pop it out when you pick up the system with 2 hands to move it. (No, I didn't do that, but I can see it happening.)

Good build quality and no probs in use or set up. Audio is v good- if pushed i would say it could do with a tad more bass but changed eq on ipod and it is good. Acoustic tracks really very good, clear and detailed.
Remote works well and overall very pleased with it especially for the price. Recommended!

Using a camera phone. Look through camera viewer (as though you are about to take a picture) aimed at the remote sensor, whilst pressing a button on the remote. The camera can see the blinking of the remote which the naked eye cannot. This works on all remotes.

I have spent months choosing a docking station for my i pod and i phone and finally found this one by Conran. I read the reviews on Play.com and took the plunge. I have to say I am totally impressed, the sound quality is excellent and it has great bass too. I was a bit worried when I plugged in my ipod touch and it said not compatible but that was just a glitch and it played staright away. The bluetooth function is also brilliant, means you can have your ipod in your hand but get the excellent sound from the system. I am totally impressed with this system and at the great price of 69.99 GBP, you cannot go wrong. Dont delay, buy one now, you wont be disappointed.

Great docking station bluetooth works perfect to play music across the room wirelessly great bass too.
