4.5 OK but poor volume lets it down tele60 | 17/12/2013 | See all tele60's reviews (1) You can't really expect too much for less than 30 pounds, and what you get is a light weight, plastic mp3 player, and cheap set of ear buds - these facts are not really a problem, and to be fair I wasn't expecting anything more for the money. The player handles a lot of different file types, which is great, and even has a radio built in. The features are good, and it is easy to use. The main problem for me is the lack of volume. I wanted this for the gym, but the sound output level is so low, even with the equalizer set to max on all the frequencies, that it's almost impossible to hear the music when there is any background noise. If the volume had been better I would have scored it 4 stars, but it is pretty much useless for me. I have even used it in a quiet room with noise cancelling headphones and the volume is still very low. I will be looking for a different player.
