  Very bassy and loud!

Ok so these headphones aren't perfect. The mids and highs are somewhat shadowed by the huge bass these have. However a bit of tweaking on the EQ and the music is brought to life! There's an Ibiza end of summer party in my ears right now.
The headphones are very comfortable and feel chunky and robust. They also maintain themselves in the ear very well, unlike some much more expensive in ear headphones which you have to keep repositioning and jamming them back in. Overall 4/5, not perfect, but near enough!

  Great sound for the price

Great sound, great price. The last few headphones I've bought have all broken after a short period. These have last well from daily use and provide great sound for the price.

  Just amazing

I purchased these over a year ago for 20 and I would pay twenty again. Very strong bass. I mostly listen drum'n'bass and dubstep and I found these just perfect. Still going strong.

  Okay

The first time I used these I thought they were fantastic. But then I realised they weren't any different to the one's I got with my phone. Expensive second pair, wouldn't particularly recommend except they are nice looking. Wish I hadn't paid 13 pound for them.

  Don't Believe The Hype?

Having read the reviews I bought these purely on the strength of that. Now this is only my opinion, but they don't really fit very comfortably, the bass and overall sound is good but only if you can jam them right into your ears. Otherwise they sound like listening to a radio on the beach and incredibly light and tinny. To say I was disappointed would be true to say, not as good as i had hoped for.

  Brilliant!

I don't normally write reviews, but I figured these are absolutely worth it. I've had these headphones for about 16 months now and they've only just broke. I don't know about you guys, but normally I struggle to find headphones that last much longer than 3 months, so it was a brilliant purchase. The sound is loud (I normally struggle to put my iPod volume much above halfway without my ears exploding) and the quality is good enough for me to not notice any faults, with a decent level of bass. And for the cheap price it's absolutely fantastic, especially given how durable it is. I'm buying a second pair right now, these have served me so well!

  Poor Quality

They sound tinny, are huge and let everyone around you know what you're listening to. I wouldn't buy these again and would not recommend them to anyone

  Totally worthless for hi-fi use.

I bought these JVC in-ear headphones because of the great rewievs here. I thought it was still possibly to do a great buy on a great product, but sadly the only thing I got was confirmation of the old saying "You get what you pay for".

First of all, the mid-range. This is where most of the information and details are, but the mid-range is almost nonexisting in these headphones. It over-emphasizes on the deep bass region (which by the way is the only part of the frequenzy range that's not all bad). After listening for a while I also hear that the higer frequenzies are almost nonexisting too. The higher midrange/lower treble frequenzies are emphasized, but even they drown a bit because of too much bass.

From a hi-fi point of view these are totally useless! There's no such thing as realism here, and the hi-fi enthusiast will find these JVC's a total waste of money at any price! If you only want the most bass you can get for your money without caring for anything else I guess you could call them a good buy. The other positive thing is that they fit greatly in my ears. What a pity I don't want them in there for so many other reasons...

the best budget phones on the market

| | See all moff26's reviews (3)

i got my set through this morning, and they are fantastic! with Samsung ace phones you can barely hear a sound through most head phones, that is not the case with these ive had to turn the volume down. If you got loads of money to throw around obviously go for a hd set but I would recommend these over any other set that is under 50 pounds
