PNY 8GB SD Memory Card Class 4

Rated as class 4, whilst in reality it achieves nowhere near the minimum speed of 4MB/s. Whilst using mine, I achieved between 1-1.5MB/s. It may only be cheap, but should not be rated as class 4, or even class 2 for that matter.
Returning this for a refund.

I purchased this product on Play due to the competitve price for the size and through loyal use of the PNY SD cards previously. It performs well and is great for the price. Would recommend to beginners who are on a budget or simply want a card to use as a back up on long trips.

I always buy PNY as they deliver great value and great performance.
This works great in my lumex TZ7 with fast response times when recording full HD Video.
I like the label as it has more space to write on and i take alot of video so very handy for referencing the cards.
I also tried it in my Canon EOS 1D Mark IIII to check how it would perform due to the reviews i have seen and it did remarkably well for a Class 4 performance card, so the other reviews i just can't understand!
Have faith in PNY they know what they are doing

I purchased 2 of these these a few weeks ago and they been brilliant.

Died on me after 3 months of light use, in my camera i kept getting an error that the card was wright protected, there was a small clip on the side to make it write protected altered this and didnt change appears to be stuck like this, making the card useless re-formatted and same issue remains. bought a scandisk to replace it
