  Brilliant for the money!

This is a superb stand for the price, I've not seen anything like it for this money. Ordered on Sunday, delivered on Wednesday, took 20mins to assemble, what more could you ask for? Yet another bargain from Play.com, I just don't know how they do it!

  Excellent product for the price

Easy to assemble, didn't have the problem with the screws that others have mentioned. Looks very smart, on a par with much more expensive units.

Pretty nice, especially for the cash.

I bought this in preparation for moving out (whenever that is) and am impressed with the stand. It may not be as good as the parents one but it was a third of the price!

The stand does take a while to put together (25 minutes) and is a bit fiddly in places, the instructions are fairly simple too, althoguh it takes a while to find the right bits in whatever marked bag it should be.

The parts looks a bit cheap but when it is all together it all seems to work rather nicely with regards to aesthetics.

Definitely worth buying for a cheap unit to do the job, if fashion is your thing though then go for something a bit more pricey to get that extra bit of style.

  not bad for the money

Good stand does what it needs to do, plus it looks quite smart.

Only took me 2 hours to put it up lol

Only problem when building it was 2 little screws that go in the back which hold the middle glass shelf but other then that it's fine

Great stand, shame about the boxing.

Bought 20/02/09, delivered 23/02/09 (3 days due to overweeked)

When the stand first came in the box, it looked like the glass must have been broken (the box looked like it was used as a football even though it has red signs all over it) but lucky it was all ok. it only takes 20mins to put up very easy, the legs looked cheap at first, but when its all together it looks great in my bedroom! wouldnt pay anymore than £30 but its great for the price. Thanks Play!

  Excellent value

Took me 25 mins to build even though I'm a DIY novice. Didn't have any of the problems other people had. Great value stand that is perfect for my 32" Sony Bravia.

  Not bad at all

Only problem when building it was 2 little screws that go in the back which hold the middle glass shelf up but wasnt a problem when you have super glu

Decent stand but not worth a penny more...

Bought 19/11/08, delivered 20/11/08...thanks Play!

For £30 you'll be hard pressed to find a better stand. The aluminium legs look tacky close up but once assembled this actually looks good.

Beware: I thought the base connecting screws where too short but I discovered if you turn the base unit upside down, the screws slot right in, you just need a long thin screwdriver! The middle shelf support screws are crap...fiddley and easily broken. Took a lot of playing about to make use of them. Hopefully the shelf will hold out. And finally the base support legs; one of the foot caps doesn't fit straight on the base legs. Fortunately I have carpet so the unit won't be wonky.

Suits my 32in Sony LCD (Black gloss), good viewing height, glass compliments the gloss of the tv frame. For £30 it's a bargain on next day delivery.

  Not Bad

OK so it does look pretty good, and for £30, it's hard to complain.

But, beware. The screws that connect the back panel to the middle panel are too short. You would think the company who makes the stand would have sorted this out straight away but it seems that they couldn't care less if it doesn't all fit together.

If you are prepared to buy this, get ready to go down to your local DIY shop for some longer screws.

  Not too bad.

I can't really complain too much about this stand. Mainly due to the fact it's only £50 and i didn't have to wait over six weeks for it's arrival then giving up and buying another. I had exactly the same problem as another reviewer had in that the screws that hold up the middle shelf broke. Once again the faithful super glue prevailed and everything is ok now. It's a reasonable quality stand and should be fine for most people's needs. Plus as a little extra bonus all the screws etc come in labelled bags so you know which are which before you get half way through before you realise you used the wrong bits at the beginning.
