For Pro DJs everywhere.....value for money AND top quality

If you're a DJ and you're puzzling over which cans to buy, then look no further than these beauties. They have volume, comfort and sound quality all sewn up, and they are less than half the price of Denon, Pioneer, etc.
Yes, they have been known to break at the swivel point in the past, but Sony have at least addressed the problem as best they can. I've been a pro DJ and equipment retailer for over 20 years and I've had 4 pairs of these (2 broke after 2/3 years service and one pair was stolen) and I swear by them. Look after them, don't chuck em about and they'll give great service. No way are the competition's headphones worth twice as much as these, so grab a pair soon. And don't buy from auction sites....lots of fake Chinese copies on the market.

  Good but not great

As far as sound quality goes there's are amongst the best for the price, for both club dj use and general listening pleasure. I have had three pairs of these over three / four years and they all snapped in the same place but djing every weekend and using at home. So I then opted for the technics cans of a similar design but cost me nearly double....They have also cracked in the same place.....Stick with the Sony ones and treat them with care, and if you do use them a LOT, expect to replace them!

Great sound for monitoring but they dont last

I've went through about 4 pairs of these headphones over the years and they all go the same way. They snap in the exact same place. Its a known fault "but its been fixed" ...... and thats why my last pair lasted me 6 months and the same thing happened.

Its a pitty as the sound off these headphones is amazing but not worth the money if they last no more than a year or so.

Lasted me over 3 years so far and still look and sound superb to mix with.

If I had to nick pik, it would be that I would've preferred Black if they made them in this model.
