The sound quality is excellent, but they regularly fall out my ears so...

I ordered these a few days ago, and like always, play.com have delivered my order fast and safe.
Now, the headphones. I bought these ones after one of my ipod headphones began to get static in the background when i turned the volume high, which became quite annoying. After seeing the great reviews for these, i decided to give them a shot. At first, I wasn't too impressed, but now after trying them a couple of times i am certainly pleased with them. The bass is amazing, the sound clear and loud, and the in-ear works perfectly to block out most outside sounds.
I definitely recommend these headphones, and at £15 its an utter steal.
=)

They are very nice 'phones, with a handy little black leather string bag for them. The sound is good and the in ear part works well.
They are definatly better than ipod ones

A really good buy for such a low prices, they are better than the iPod headphones and last longer. It's a great idea to purchase these.

I normally pay about £18 for these.
As said on the other reviews they do break after a while, that's why i'm on my 5th pair. i wont buy anything else, the competition dont compare in the sound quality stakes.
They hardly ever come out, only if they get pulled out when i take off a jumper or such like. if you've got small ears then they dont tend to fit but fine for most others.

The sound quality of these headphones is the best I've heard and they do a great job of keeping external sound out. However, they are not as hardy as they could be. The bent jack (rather than straight) seems to cause them to short out sooner than they ought to especially if you keep your mp3 player in your pocket. I'm on my third pair so obviously I have overlooked this slight fault in favour of the great sound quality.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars A must have!

I bought these headphones the day after boxing day 2 years ago, and have used them almost daily ever since. the right earphone has packed up now. but i'll still be buying another pair as the sound quality is awesome! they are comfortable to wear, i often forget i have them in! they stay in fairly well, so are a good alternative to in-ear earphones. all in all a great buy.

I've used these particular headphones for a good few years and I find them to be excellent in most regards. They're comfortable and fit snugly in the ear, sending music directly to your brain. The sound quality is terrific, with good bass response and a clear top-end. Loud too!

However, as has been pointed out in other reviews, the headphones lose a point because of their tendency to break. It seems there's a definite lifespan, with one earpiece typically packing up after a certain amount of time. Not sure why, but there you go.

On the plus side, I've always spent in excess of £15 on the MDR-ED21LPs but I took a look to see if play's price could beat that and - hey presto! - a steal at £12.99! And just in time - the left earpiece has gone on my existing pair.

Recommended, despite the negatives mentioned above...

Quality of sound is superb with these headphones. Only problem I had was after two years the left one died on me which is why I will be going straight back out and buying a new pair.
