This camera is small, light and good to look at.

Its got good customisation on images, video and timers. The image quality is very very good. I own the G7 and the D300 and its comparible. The flash is excellent for night shots.

The zoom lens is only 3x and there is no image stabiliser. This, coupled with the slightly slow charge time for the flash drops it to only (Only!!) four stars.

Features that are good inclue a 60FPS video capture (alows slow motion replays) and also at the other end of the spectrum it does slow image capture (one image per second / two seconds). It compiles the images into a video for you and you are able to see clouds scud across the sky, or the journey into work be spead up incredibly.

As a first camera this would be idea for the standard photographer.
For those who have a camera alread which they don't wish to take on stag parties etc. then this is absolutely ideal.

p.s. the difference between this and the 75 is that this has a view finder and the 75 does not. Instead the 75 has a larger back screen.
