Top 100  Reviewer Top 10 Electronics Reviewer Top 10 Mobile Reviewer

Bought this tv as a second tv for my bedroom.I already have a 42" toshiba in my living room but considered the sony KDL32S2530U and the Samsung LE32R87BDX.After reading alot of reviews i found the biggest problems with the samsung are the sound quality and bad pixelation.Sure they do look nice but picture quality is more important than looks. The sony on the other hand has excellent picture quality and good sound but lacks in the looks department and also a few reliability issues. It took me the best part of a week looking in currys and comet and finally decided on the toshiba.Ive had many toshiba products and can say quite honestly ive never had one let me down.Without doubt i made the right choice. The picture is excellent in every way the colours are bright and the onboard digital tuner is better than any set top box ive used and picks up most channels even with a portable aerial due to its on board signal booster which does infact rearly make a difference. The other good thing is the tv up-scaling which also works great and on colours like white rearly show up bright and clear, also the blacks arent pixelated and look sharp and detailed.Plenty of connections for most av hungry people including 2 hdmi,2 scarts composite avs and component avs pc input, and also an optical in/out,what tvs can boast that?Works great with hi def dvds played on the ps3 and with the 24fps technology theres no judder or picture lag.Next thing is the sound, for a small tv the sound is great unlike most bigger tvs this can fill a room and has plenty of depth and clarity. In all this tv is faultless in everyway even in design and build quality.Avoid the samsungs and other cheaper sets this tv is excellent and well worth the tiny price tag!!!Go buy now!!!!!!

Awesome Quality at an affordable price!

I Purchased this T.v As to put in my bedroom, I have a 37" WLT58 tohisba in my living room... and bought another Tosh assuming it would be of same quality.

And I wasnt disappointed, this t.v is excellant, I have it in my bedroom with a PS3 hooked upto it. the PS3 automatically set its self to 1080p and double scales DVD`s....... good SRS sound, easy setup, nice loking.
If you are considering a new HDTV, dont get a cheap one with a name you never heard of, and dont get a stupidly expensive one. This t.v will do the job!

This is the 3rd HDTV I have purchased from Play.com, the delivery and serice is excellant...

     Serious quality for the price

I received the Tosh 32" 2 days ago, set it up in less than 10 mins, switched it on, and within seconds it was ready to go. Extremely impressive picture quality. There has been a small concern about viewing angle, but to be quite honest the only time the quality really suffers due to viewing angle is at an angle you really wouldnt be watchin tv at in the first place. not a problem. Highly recommend.

This television is a fantastic in all realms , the sound quality is excellent , the picture quality is very good , i have a small samsung 17 inch lcd , and this is awful quality! , The expansion is great too , loads of connections , absolute piece of cake to set up and looks simply stunning , on and off! , excellent remote , esepcially if you have other toshiba products , just flick the switch to dvd and it controls the dvd player too .
Cracking bargain , order one definetly!

     Excellent TV

Ive had this tv for about a month and i have to say im impressed.

There are issues with this TV, colour banding especially on scenes with alot of sky in them but ive noticed this on more expensive TV's infact i think all LCD's suffer with this to some degree and the viewing angle isnt that great, you REALLY need to make sure you position this tv in the right place for your viewing position especially if you are going to wall mount it. This isnt too much of an issue if you will be watching the tv from roughly infront of the set but if you are off to the sides it could affect your viewing pleasure.. from a distance freeview looks great (as great as freeview can look) up close you will notice the digital noise and blocking.. DVD's from an upscaling DVD player connected via HDMI look great, some issues but i feel its due to DVD compression but all in all upscaled DVD's look fantastic.. XBOX 360 also looks great.. Despite what some reviews ive seen around say you can have different settings (picture) for different inputs.. xbox 360 via VGA (PC input) can have its own backlight, brightness and contrast settings.. HDMI and TV can have seperate noise reduction settings but seem to share the other settings.

watched some football on freeview and its looked pretty good.. havent noticed much in the way of motion blur or screen judder via any input.. as i said, there are some slight issues with this TV, if you were paying £800 for it then i would knock a point or two off the score but for this price its a fantastic TV, what hi-fi gave it a 5 star rating and apparently PS3 magazing have said its a great TV.. its worth every penny!
