Excellent! I use mine both in the car and on the motor bike. I would not be without it. It got me around Spain (aswell as in and out of Malaga Airport car hire centre - worth having just for that!). Some of the additional features available on TomTom Home are reeaally good. Map Share is an great idea and allows verified mapping corrections. On the bike I run it through the Autocom intercom system, rather than using the Scala Blue Tooth (which comes with the unit). With the Autocom you will need to buy a 'Dongle' from Autocom, then it will work excellently through the helmet head set.
A word of advice; when connected to the computer for downloading/backing-up, keep the unit connected to the charger/mains adaptor as it does use a lot of battery power.
Just got back from a short break in France on my bike, having christened my Tom Tom Rider 2. Dead easy to use, highly intuitive, and versatile. Try searching for a petrol station when you're running low, or for a hotel come the end of the day. Itinerary planning is a doddle. Seems well mafe and the Scala Heatset works well - using my normal earplugs I could still clearly hear instructions at 90 mph plus. Money well spend and the car adaptor (extra) means I can use it im my car too.
