I bought this set in November and have used it with out problem since. The first thing you note is that out of the box it is set up correctly unlike so many sets and only required final tweaking. The off air freeview picture when the broadcasters give you a good quality source are much better than most LCD and Plasma tvs due to this set having a built in scaler. I have played both Blu-ray,HdDVD and HdFreesat (BBCHD) and with these high quality sources the pictures are breath taking.
Unlike some other tv's in this class the sound is good Toshiba not having made it too thin to get reasonable speakers in place. 24P reduces blur on fast moving scenes and means you can out put via the HDMI with out processing the signal from the disc.
There are a few minor thigs that could be better, it wold have been good to have 3 scarts and 3 Hdmi sockets, and apower on off switch. But these are easly over come with Hdmi switch and scart switch. I can recommend this set to any one I still… more »
