Sennheiser HD 25 Headphones

i don't normally write reviews, but these headphones are amazing, i've started djing for some fun, and it was my birthday a few weeks ago, i wanted some cheapish headphones so i could spend my birthday budget on something else as well, but i just thought why not get something a couldn't normally afford. let me tell you...these are awesome...pricey ...yes....worth every penny....hell yes, the term you get what you pay for really does apply here. aside from my mac and my car, it is the best buy i've ever done. if you have the money, get them, if you don't have the money...save for them....

Initially I was looking for noise cancelling headphones with decent sound quality so I could use them in home as well as when on the go. After reading all the reviews I decided to not to go for noise cancelling headphones but get pair of HD 25-1 II's. I am so glad I made my mind this way. The head phones have just arrived and I ordered them just few days ago so + point for PLAY. These headphones are indeed hd 25-1 II (make 2) so they came with extra ear-pads and carrying pouch. The are made of plastic but they look solid and they are very light weight. When I put them on for the first time I was astonished how great the sound quality is. Also they turned up to be grate in the noise cancelling department. I can have very noisy hoover turned on in the same room and when I have headphones on I can only hear some quiet hiss noise. Grate headphones for a decent price.

I haven't just brought these headphones, i've had them for just over 5 years.
Hands down the best headphones i've ever had or used. They're made from plastic but they could be made from steel, they're rock solid.
My pair have taken quite a beating over the years and been used in a lot of different environments but they're still performing as good as they did the day i got them.
When they eventually die i shall instantly buy another pair.

You will not be disappointed!

Bass response is excellent. Completely makes these headphones and although they are half cups they may as well be full cup. They block out other sound perfectly. Great for DJ'ing and just listening

I cant believe that play got them at this price! I just got mine and can confirm that they are the HD25-1 MK2 edition complete with velour ear pads! Sound amazing. Always wanted a pair of these but £180 was a bit steep. £109 is a great price for one of the best headphones in the world!
