  Really Good For Money

I Got Mine For 20 Pounds, So Even Better! The Audio Quality Is Very Good, But Lacks In Bass, Also If You Have A Samsung Monte (Or Like) Or A Nokia C3-00 (Or Like) DO NOT BUY THESE!!! These Do NOT Work Fully With Them, Sound Is Rubbish Unless You HOLD The Button, But Now I've Got An iPhone So They Work Brilliantly.

  Skullcandy Lowrider DJ Headphones (Black/Gold)

I received these headphones a couple of months ago and i love them. I had read about other people's headphones breaking but decided to go ahead and order them anyway and as i'm a teenager i'm quite rough with them and they have not broke yet and don't feel like breaking. I wear them everyday around my neck and they are really comfy except if your skinny like me they bounce against your collarbone which can be irritating but can be solved by wearing a jumper. Another annoying point is that if you have hair which is relatively longish then your hair can get caught in the top part of the headband. Other than these minor factors, the sound quality is brilliant and other than being used as headphones they can be used as speakers as the volume can be very loud. Overall really good headphone.

i have read that many people say these break really easily etc... but im a student and mine get thrown around all over the place, and they are absolutely fine! They look great, sound great and they are comfortable. It took a few wears to get the ultimate comfort, but you can easily slide the band to get yours! would definitely get these!

  Loved while they lasted

I absolutely loved these headphones... while they lasted.

They looked great and were comfortable too, so I really enjoyed wearing them. The sound quality was just what I wanted. Enough bass to pack a punch, but still with a good level of treble.

As with other customers however, I'd only had them about 2 months before they snapped on the right side of the headband. All I'd done to damage them was take them off!

I've considered re-buying them, because in my opinion they're the best looking headphones on the market, but you can buy so much better quality for the same price that it just doesn't seem worth it.

  Good Sound But Breakable

I got these headphones about four months ago and I found that the sound was absolutely brilliant, especially for the price! But after a month or so of use outside they broke (the right earpiece just snapped off from the extender as I was putting them on) I wasn't particularaly rough with them but they still broke, you'll notice that once you start folding them they become very loose and feel flimsy, I will be phoning the UK distributor of Skullcandys tomorrow and see if I can get a replacement seeing as they didn't even have the basic courtesy to reply to my e-mails. These are good for light use inside or if you just plan to wear them around your neck instead of folding but if you plan to use them a lot or want to fold them I'd strongly consider going for another brand altogether.

1st pair broke, 2nd pair broke

I bought these headphones for my son last christmas. They lasted about 3 months and snapped at the top hinge. I recieved a replacement pair from play.com, and I have just been informed by my son that they have again broken at the top hinge.

2 pairs with the same issue says to me that the design is poor. Don't buy them.

  Great while they lasted

Bought them in January, really impressed by them. Really clean bass and impressive treble. The quality was amazing. However its only lasted until the end of March. Much better than the Sony in ear headphones I had in terms of quality, but those lasted nearly 2 and a half years. My advice is to go for headphones that don't look like they could break when you hold them.

  there alright....

Sound quality OK, build quality not so much

| | See all JamieMW's reviews (3)

The cans themselves are ok, not the best sound reproduction i've heard, but then again i wouldn't have expected that for £30! They do look great, always get comments on how cool they look.
The build quality is the real worry. Whilst mine haven't actually broken, they certainly feel quite flimsy, and more than one friend has had a pair of these break without heavy useage.
If they don't need the wire wravelling up and the phones folding up all the time, then they should be fine. Otherwise, it would be worth considering a different brand.

In summary, they look good, sound ok, feel cheap.
