We bought this camcorder as an xmas pressie for our son and as he knew about it he begged to have it early to get his new baby daughter on film, how could we refuse haha, when he showed me what he had recorded i couldn't believe how clear the picture was i was so impressed i ordered another for my stepdaughter for xmas and was lucky to get it at £119 as it now looks like there are no more left. Gave it 4 stars as not seen how it performs under water.

I have just bought this camcorder for 119.99 and im very pleased with it.
Its a shame that you dont get an sd card with it though, as i ordered 2 when i ordered the camcorder....both from play.com and they havent arrived so i havent been able to use it properly yet. The internal memory is very small so allowed me to film for approx 40 seconds.
I have orderd a couple of 2gb sd cards, which im hoping will be enough to film an hour or so's worth of video....but im unsure?
It feels pretty well put together, the lcd screen is clear and bright, and feels nice and solid. I cant wait to jump in a pool and give it a go underwater lol.
Very happy with this product and would certainly reccomend it to anyone thinking of buying a camcorder :)

The picture quality on this camera is excellent, I have just returned from a trip where my 2 fellow travellers had far superior cameras, or so they thought. My Sanyo aced both cameras for the still photos. The photos are great quality and the gun style means you can get fantastic shots on the go. We got some really good shots out of car windows whilst the other cameras just took blurs.
My reason for the 4* and not 5* is that when using the video function in a quiet environment, the recording always has the cameras motor sound over whatever is being filmed. This leaves a predator style voiceover on every video I tried to get. A serious annoyance as I have had to put music over all of my footage to hide it.
As a still camera I would recommend this every time, as for the video, I advice caution as to the sound quality.
That said, I would still buy this camera over any other on the market.
