Samsung F86 40" LE40F86BD HD 1080p Freeview Widescreen LCD TV

I have had this TV now for about a week and must say it is stunning. Picture quality is amazing, colours, blacks are fantastic. No faults with my set and no dead pixels. One of the best TV's on the market!!

Had this tv for a couple of days now, and all i can say about it is wow!!. Take my word for it and buy it, or just google it and read all the 5 star reviews that i did, not one person has a bad thing to say about it. I think that all the more exspensive makes out there have a lot to learn about "value for money". The picture will blow you away, its so good it has a 3d feel about it when watching a blu-ray on it. The 100htz works well to, giving the image much smoother paning and movement. All in all a great tv and a bargain price tag. Wow!!!

If you are thinking of getting an LCD and this is in your price range, just buy it you won't be disappointed. I was looking for an good LCD for about a month, done some research and am glad I chose this one. Have it hooked up to PS3 and xbox360 and the picture quality is astounding, so much so that I spent the best part of 2 hours looking for a really nice High res background pic for my PS3. I watched Bladerunner on Blueray last night and was blown away by the picture quality (don't forget bladerunner is a pretty old film now, early eighties I think), this blueray enhanced version really makes a difference. Overall I am very impressed with this tv, it was easy enough to set up (although I had some problems working our how to get my ps3 into HD but it got sorted in the end). Looks great when turned off too, very deep black, looks really classy.

No fancy reviews, just alot of research before buying this set, coupled with the Samsung BD-P1400 Blu-Ray, a totally stunning picture. Sound isn't as bad as some folk make out, guess it depends on what you're used to. Am considering the Logic3 or Yamaha YSP900 to compliment the set.

If you are like me and bought this tele after doing months and months of research. then i gaurantee you will be more than happy with it. it took me no less than 5 minutes to set the thing up and connect it to nearly everything in the house (pc, PS3, ps2, wii, xbox 360, Dvd, player, vhs, hi fi,) this thing will hold them all.
the sound is amazing and the speaker are a nice design feature. then we get to the best thing of all, the pictur quality, this is without a doubt the best picture i have seen on tv ever with out needing to spend more the £1000 full 1080p 100hz what more could you ask for even the free view picture is amazing on this TV. As for playing normal DVD's through a blu-ray device such as a ps3 i quite honestly don't see the need for an actual blu-ray dvd because motion, sound and intense film sequences run smoother and as the blu-ray device and tele work together to give you better clarity you get an awesome picture. last but not least HD gaming, this tele brings your games to life, for instance Uncharted: drakes fortune played through your ps3 is an absolute pleasure, so much detail is brought to life in front of your eyes i might take a few minutes to convince yourself your still playing a game and not actually there. if you got the cash and you want an amazing TV i would recomend this to anyone 100% amazing and play have the best delivery time as i ordered this when out of stock, it then came into play 2 days later, got dispatched the next day, you then get a phone call letting you know what day and they even tell you if it is a morning or afternoon drop which is extra help full if you need to come out from work but i didn't have this problem as they were at my door for 8 am. i even had time to set it up play some games and test a movie before i left for work.
