The Samsung S85 is a high resolution digital camera that is equipped with a true-colour filtered 8.2 mega pixel CCD. This allows the Samsung S85 to produce even better images and take detailed photos for printing up to poster size. In addition, the Samsung S85 has a 5x optical and 5x digital zoom giving 25x total zoom when combined.



Face Recognition AF & AE
With the Face Recognition function, the Samsung S85 enables your to take better portrait pictures more easily. The function detects faces and automatically focuses on them; the brightness of the faces is adjusted optimally for beautiful portrait pictures.



14 Scene Modes
The 14 Scene modes available enable you to take the best pictures with ease, in different shooting environments. The S85 provides 14 Scene modes: Night, Portrait, Children, Landscape, Macro, Text, Sunset, Dawn, Backlight, Fireworks, Beach and Snow, Self-Shot, Food, and Cafe.



2.5" TFT LCD
The Samsung S85 has a 2.5" LCD with improved contrast and colour reproduction for easy image framing and reviewing.



ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction) System
The ASR technology prevents the degradation of image clarity and colour which is sometimes found in flash photography. With ASR the effects of image blur are reduced in lower light conditions. You can even take well exposed, sharper pictures in low light condition without using a flash at all, which guarantees brighter and more natural pictures.



ISO 1600 Support
The Samsung S85 produces bright pictures even in low light. The camera has an auto sensitivity feature that automatically adjusts sensitivity up to ISO 1600 depending on the ambient exposure conditions. The high sensitivity setting of ISO 1600 enables you to take clear indoor pictures, even in poor light condition without image blur.
