This is clearly the best ipod out yet. It can play videos you name it with its very sharp and vivid screen.
The music is clear and it holds 8GB aswell.
One thing about it is that if you tend to watch videos alot, the battery lasts about 4-5 hours, with music, it lasts for about 5 times that :)
If you want something with a little more fire, i would recommend the itouch as you can also use the wi-fi to go around web pages and stuff aswell and the screen is massive

can you put dvd's onto it? or are dvd's generally locked, so they can't be moved onto things like ipods?

I have to agree with everyone else - excellent value, great sound quality, easy to use etc etc.
Good news for Apple haters (such of myself) - you can now use Winamp instead of itunes to transfer music to your ipod :D
