this is by far the best iPod ever! you can fit absolutely everything on this, i was very surprised with its battery life in comparison to previous models. Not only does it look the business its easy to use and lightweight their is nothing to compete with this on the market for a similar price and memory.....no wonder why iPod has 70% ofthe mp3 market great value for money

 Travel Companion

Ever been stuck in a hotel or bed&breakfast with the same old TV channels with nothing to watch or listen to?
I have over 14 of my favourite films and many of my CDs transferred to my IPOD. It has been my travel companion on many a lonely trip, the only downside it never puts its hand in its pocket when I go to the bar for a drink.....

An all round excellent media player

Having owned several music players in my time the iPod is by far the easiest to use. Finding what you want is a doddle, and it is high quality all round. Don't believe the reviews from those who say it sounds crap compared to the iPod video; it really doesn't and if you can use some Sony earphones as they are better than the supplied Apple ones.

Biggest thing for me is battery life; ran my battery flat (almost) last week; it ran for over 34 hours with me skipping tracks and even watching some video towards the end, but I didn't get to run it completely flat as I wanted it fully charged for the morning. It was getting very late and I just couldn't drain it as the power consumption is so good. The battery indicator was still in the green after 30 hours too.

It certainly exceeds the 30 hours music time Apple specifies and I reckon it will do more than 5 hours video. Great value for the amount of disc space you get.

This is why iPod is THE name in MP3 players.

About 4 years ago I bought an iPod mini (which was good) but the battery wasn't keeping a charge so I upgraded to this beauty.

This has a huge 80GB hard drive, crystal clear colour screen for watching videos or veiwing your pictures, a new cover flow system so you can browse through your music collection easily and a few ok games.

When I was choosing my new iPod it was a toss up between this and the iPod touch but the size of the hard drive an battery life swayed me to this one and I have been delighted with it
