I have to disagree with the people who have only rated this with 1 star!
The first time i used this my ipod touch was in a house when a fire started. This actually stopped my ipod from getting smnoke damage. All that happened was the cvoating smelt a little so just pulled it off ordered another one from Play.com and put it on again. You surely must not have ready the instructions properly as i have not had any problems with the corners not sticking or anything like that. This is a must have for any ipod owener. If you look at the website they also do Laptops and other things too.
Its just a shame Play.com dont sell the one for the Iphone 3G Please stock it Play...

This is impossible to apply to your ipod !
The corners dont stick down and when you hold it, the sides come up
But, it is very scratchproof, but you cant use it because it doesent stick x
Started going well....and then....

Well I was slightly optimistic when contemplating ordering this product because of the mixed reviews. But the bloke in the shop I bought my Ipod from swore by this product and said it was easy to put on. So I took his word for it...
The main body goes on fine, no problems. Lining it up is abit tricky but luckily it comes back off again so you can have another stab at it.
Sticking the corners down is a NIGHTMARE. They just wont stay down. Once you think you've got it a little bit is flapping at the end. This product is made to fit down to the last 0.00005mm and the most minute error will make this go wrong. I got really frustrated and just ripped it off and binned it. After many attempts the cover was dirty and would of defied the point of it in the end.
Makes me wish I didn't take the cover off that the Ipod came with when purchased.
Overall conclusion. If you're patient enough. Go for it.
If not, save yourself the hassle and buy a silicone case.

Hi, was just wondering if this would fit the new ipod touch 32gb as i have just ordered one ... this clearly states 8/16 gb but there is not a 32 gb one for sale, by the way the invisible shield is a fantastic product as my brother has bought one for his 160 gb ipod classic ...... much help would be appreciated thanks ....

Easy to fit (not sure how the other reviewer had issues), offers great protection and is therefore well worth the investment.
Only warning I have is if you plan on storing your ipod or iphone in a leather case the dye from the leather can stain the Invisishield and is impossible to remove. Lifetime warranty will however give you a replacement if you agree to pay the delivery cost.
Waste of money

I brought this for my ipod touch and it was rubbish, no matter how much liquid i used it would not go on properly and the corners would not stick down at all and then it accidentally stuck on corner to a bit of the packaging and that was that, it was ruined and wasted. Don't bother getting one of these spend the money on getting a silicone case instead.
Quality - just requires some patience

The shield works brilliantly and totally protects from scratches. It adds no bulk at all to the iPod and doesn't make it feel all that different. For the price it's better than buying a cover that adds extra bulk and hides your iPod.
It does require some patience to put it on, but if you read the instructions and look at the video its pretty easy. I managed to do it in 15mins with only a couple of small bubbles on the back. I would recommend doing the back first as a bit of practise as I managed to put the front bit on perfectly after that.

This shield has totaly put me at ease. I dont have to worry about throwing my itouch in a pocket with a set of keys because you just cant hurt it! Application can be tricky but if you watch internet tutorials you'll pick up plenty of hints & tips. It also gives your touch a brand new feel making me happy to show it off all over again!
The Shield works!

Yes it is a wee bit fiddly and yes you can get it wrong, but patience is a virtue! Take your time and the results are amazing. I have had my touch now for 4 months and didn't use until the Shield was on. It is unbelievably resilient and I have no fear about putting it in a pocket with a phone, keys or change.
There is no other like it. Just buy it and see. HOWEVER, do exercise caution putting it on. You don't want your iPod looking like a dodgy pimped up Punto with badly stuck on tinted windows.
