I brought these when the deal was on for the day, i paid 317 but i would have paid the full asking price. These phones are not meant to be bass prominent, any body with music ears will know this, these are monitors ... For listening to tracks in the studio or singers on stage. I love them being that i do both. Thank you sure for the price drop. I would recomend these cans

I love these head phones, they take some getting used to whilst in the ear but after that, brilliant.
The quality is perfect a good mixture of bass and treble, and at £17.99 they're a steal ... !!
Definite 5/5

Well packaged - well built - great sound. I paid £17.99 for mine when these were on special offer, and for that money they are a steal. But even at higher prices, these seem to me to be great cans.
They can be tricky though - they come with 6 different types and sizes of earfoam to fit the phones to your ears - working out the correct one for you is key to the sound quality, and how prominent the bass response is from these phones. This has made me rethink other phones I have that didn't sound that great but were meant to be really good - like Goldring GX200 which also seem to be a bit bass light, but may well improve with better fitting earfoams.
When you get it right, the sound is class on these Shure's. No wonder they got headphones of the year last year.
