I bought one of these for my wife to take snaps of the kids and for family.
It is one of the rare cameras that does HiDef video also.
    It seems to do everything.
Image quality is good enough for just about anyone.
Simple, easy camera to use and has simple batteries and good storage card selection.
I was so impressed; the price went down, so I bought one for myself.
Don't forget 12.4 Megapixels AND X5 optical magnification.
It's a proper trad camera size, not a back pocket piece o crap.

This camera is easy to use and am happy with the photos taken so far. I thought was a reasonable price for the features available, however if you take into account the number of batteries you need to run the thing it puts it into a whole new context. I went to a family party and in the space of approximately 5 hours went through 3 sets of batteries. The camera was not in constant use but it seems to just drain the batteries even when switched off. Someone suggested taking the batteries out when not in use but that isn't very practical if you want to take that spare of the moment photo.

     Best Camera

fabulous buy, no regrets whatsoever. 110 quid is AMAZING value for a 12mp camera, this is a great little point and shoot camera that i bought to take on holiday and am lookin forward to takin pics with it!! the only thing i would say is that do not judge th pictures until u put them on a computer as the screen is the tiniest bit grainy (not enough to annoy anyone tho) but once you've done this you will be amazed at the quality, as i was!! i used this with the sandisk extreme III 2 gb SD card, so the camera saves pics really really quickly and i dont have the annoying problem of waiting forever to take another picture!!
absolutely love this camera, the screen is a decent size for such a handy small camera and its really really easy to use
practical, stylish, great value, great functions, what else do you need??

Good 'pocket' camera - heavy on fuel though!

Bought this camera as an alternative to taking my Canon 5D to South America (and probably losing it - to the muggers!).

    For the money, I'm amazed.

Yes, it eats batteries - but a set of 2700MAh rechargeable AA's soon tamed it.

Metering can be fooled sometimes, so check your shots / re-meter elsewhere (to avoid bleached out backgrounds).

Focus can be a tad 'soft' in places too (dependant upon lighting / contrast in scene).

On-board 'stitching' is very nice - and generally works VERY well - occasionally it 'botches' it though.

Other 'scene' modes also very good / useful

Video quality is also Very Good.

In hindsight, for comparitively little outlay, you get:

    Great shots
Great 'stitched' panoramas (although shame it does not save individual frames for 'home' corrective work).
    Great video

and it fits fairly well in your pocket!

I took about 900 photos and about 80 videos over 2 weeks using this camera - and 90% satisfied with those results.
