Originally bought this for my pc, plugged it in the usb slot on the ps3 and it recognises the card reader as a usb device (sd card reader) in photo, music and video sections in main menu. Great item!!!
As I am new to the world of SD cards and the like, I didn't need anything complicated and expensive - this fitted the bill perfectly. It does what it exactly what it says and more, transferring images and video is quick and easy - just plug in and you're away!

I got this memory card reader, but the sd kept erroring etc, changed to another sd card reader and it worked, so I wasted money on this 1
I needed a new card reader for SDHC cards. This works faultlessly and transfers pics from an 8 gig Sandisk Extreme III card very rapidly. At this price you would be silly not to buy one!
Is it rewritable???? ie, can you delete files straight from USB rather than having to put the card back into the camera and format it???

Yes it is rewritable, arrived today and can happily transfer/delete files directly from USB
