4 Greatest Gadget Ever...Phatchief2008 | 22/02/2008 | See all Phatchief2008's reviews (3)I got my 32gb Ipod touch on Monday and already I don't know how I did without it. From simple things like checking the weather for the next five days to entering to do lists and calendar entries this thing really has it all.I have managed to sync the Email widget to Hotmail, there is a 'How-To' on youtube, which you can review straight from the Ipod touch. Its very easy to set up as well.I booked a hotel online, found out where it was on Google Maps (and bookmarked the position), and then entered all of the details into the Calendar, whilst listening to my own music, all from the comfort of the pub. Granted, I know this could be done on a laptop but once done I can put this in my pocket. It literally just works from the off. There are a couple of niggles, but nothing major. First annoying thing is the lack of ability to subscribe to podcasts directly from the portable Itunes but potentially this may be sorted in one of the future updates. The Safari browser does not handle Flash yet, which means certain websites cannot be viewed correctly. It can be difficult to adjust the volume when you're on the move.I do miss the Radio from my old MP3 player. If there was a way of embedding Windows Media player into it then this would be absolutely perfect. I'm sure someone will come up with something...As I said, these are minor niggles... this really is the future of the internet and mobile communications and I would strongly recommend getting one.
