Its excellent value, every channel works, slight lag every now and again, and a slightly irritating epg but all in all it works and its less than £20 so who am i to moan!

  cheap and nasty

It's cheap, and it works, but it's not nice to use at all. The remote is very clunky, and the most annoying thing is that it won't let you see what is on other channels without changing the channel.

  Works even with indoor aerial

I had no problems once this was set up which needed to be run twice. It is running from an ancient indoor aerial. I'm ordering another as it is pointless going for the latest expensive gizmo as the service will all change soon. Who has time to watch the programs you recorded because you didn't have time to see the broadcast anyway?

  Unfit for purpose

This is the 3rd set-top box I have had and the first to fail to be satisfactory. It takes ages to scan and pictures and sound are blocky and jerky. It's not my reception because other boxes have worked fine. I shall be returning for a refund.

I took a risk and ordered 2 of these for my childrens bedrooms a few months ago. I was pleasently suprised at the quality of picture and speed of the interface. Cheap freeview boxes I have seen in the past usually have very poor software and often freeze or crash and take to long just to scroll up and down the programme guide, but not so with this one.
If fact I've just ordered another.

  FV100

I bought this to replace a Toshiba freeview box i had that suddenly died. The software on this is much better than my last one and works perfectly so why spend atleast £40 on a larger brand that could break so easily? The only bad point about this product is that it doesnt have a digital display on the front for the time or channel, but who really cares?
